Rossi Ice Cream Launched in Co-op Stores

1st June 2016

June 2016 welcomes an exciting new contract with Co-op Manchester group to supply over 40 stores across Essex. This is a fantastic addition to the 80 stores we currently supply to under the East of England and Chelmsford Star groups, meaning Rossi Ice cream is now available in a total of 120 Co-op stores throughout Essex and the surrounding areas!

Colin Gray, Director at Rossi Ice Cream, said: “We are thrilled to have this opportunity for our product to be on sale to a wider audience, as well as giving the present Rossi devotees the option to now purchase our Ice Cream in their local Co-op store.

“Since recently employing additional production team members and increasing our storage facilities for stock holding, we are now in a comfortable position to produce the increased product demand, led by the Co-op. We have also introduced a Corporate Sales Executive to manage key accounts, with a scope to expand regionally and nationally over the coming years.

We have every confidence that working with the Co-op will be extremely beneficial for both parties, with the plan to increase our sales this year by at least 12 %”.

Judy Naylor, the Co-op’s ranging manager for the south of England, said: “Whatever the weather Rossi’s ice creams are always a huge hit, and we’re sure they will be flying out of freezers this summer.  The Co-op is committed to offering more locally sourced produce conveniently, and we will continue to work with suppliers in Essex and throughout county wherever possible.”
